What this policy covers

This policy applies to the FETE mobile app and the tryfete.com website. It covers data you provide directly, data created when you use FETE, and data required to operate the underlying services.

Data we collect

Website data
Contact information you submit through email, the contact form, or other support channels on tryfete.com.
Account and profile data
Name, handle, email address, and account identifiers required to operate the FETE app.
Fete content
Photos, voice notes, video, and written messages you and your guests upload — kept in a private store, encrypted in transit and at rest, and visible only to invited members after the reveal date. Access is enforced by server-side rules; content is not end-to-end encrypted.
Product usage data
In-app interactions, device push tokens, feature-specific data required for FETE to function, and anonymous usage statistics (aggregate events without user or device identifiers).
Support and communication data
Support emails, contact details, and the contents of any requests you send to AppsyStudios OÜ.
Studio referral data
The studio referral token used at registration, the attributed studio, attribution and conversion timestamps, and a privacy-safe commission ledger. Studios receive aggregates and pseudonymous purchase rows, never customer contact details or Fete content.
Studio partner data
Studio name, logo, brand colour, staff membership, payout contact, terms acceptance, ledger adjustments, invoices, and payout references required to operate the partner programme.

How we use personal data

  • Provide the FETE app and the tryfete.com website.
  • Create and manage your account and your Fetes.
  • Deliver invitations, reveal notifications, and product communications.
  • Respond to support requests, refund requests, and account questions.
  • Protect FETE against abuse, fraud, and misuse of the invite system.
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.
  • Attribute eligible new customers to a studio and calculate, review, reverse, and pay studio commission.

Studio referrals and privacy boundary

When a new customer registers through a studio link, FETE stores a first-party attribution and uses it to determine whether the customer's first paid production purchase is commissionable. The studio can see aggregate referral and conversion counts plus purchase date, product, currency, amount, and ledger status. The studio cannot see the customer's name, email, account identifier, guest list, photos, voice notes, messages, or other Fete contributions.

Website cookies

The studio registration flow uses strictly functional, first-party cookies to maintain the Supabase sign-in session and remember the referral token during email confirmation. The referral cookie is HTTP-only, is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and expires after 24 hours or is deleted when attribution completes.

Legal bases

  • Performance of a contract when you create an account or buy a Fete.
  • Legitimate interests in securing FETE, preventing misuse, improving the product, and answering support requests.
  • Consent where you voluntarily provide information for optional features.
  • Compliance with legal obligations, including accounting, tax, anti-fraud, and regulatory duties.

A referring studio receives only the limited, privacy-safe partner dashboard data described above. It is not given access to customer personal data or Fete content.

Sharing and processors

FETE shares personal data only with processors required to operate the product. We do not sell personal data and we do not use Fete content to train models.

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and encrypted storage for Fete contributions.
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery for tryfete.com.
  • RevenueCat — receipts and subscription state for in-app purchases.
  • Expo — push notification delivery to your device.

Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to operate FETE, maintain account history, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, your profile, the Fetes you hosted, your contributions, the files you uploaded (photos, voice notes, avatar, and cover images), and the push tokens tied to your device are erased without undue delay. Referral and finance records may be retained separately where needed to prevent duplicate commission, resolve disputes, and satisfy tax or accounting duties; they are minimised and do not expose Fete content to the studio.

International transfers

FETE's database and file storage are operated by Supabase on infrastructure located in the United States. AppsyStudios OÜ and its other processors may also process data in Estonia and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area — including to the United States — AppsyStudios OÜ relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, together with supplementary safeguards.

Your rights

  • Request access to the personal data AppsyStudios OÜ holds about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Request deletion where retention is no longer required.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where the law allows.
  • Request portability of data you provided to AppsyStudios OÜ.
  • Lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

Privacy requests can be sent to b.buettner@itsappsy.com.

Children

FETE is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact AppsyStudios OÜ and we will review and remove the data where appropriate.

Policy updates

AppsyStudios OÜ may update this policy when FETE's features, legal obligations, or processor relationships change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
